HOW TO USE THE REBATE

As you may have heard, the Bush Administration said each and every one of us would now get a nice rebate.
If we spend that money at Wal-Mart, all the money will go to China.
If we spend it on gasoline it will all go to the Arabs.
If we purchase a computer it will all go to India.
If we purchase fruit and vegetables it will all go to Mexico, Honduras, and Guatemala.
If we purchase a good car it will all go to Japan.
If we purchase useless crap it will all go to Taiwan.
,,,and none of it will help the American economy.
We need to keep that money here in America, so the only way to keep that money here at home is to buy beer, since those are the only businesses still in the US.

       A BAN ON DYING

PAU, France (AFP) - The mayor of a French village has issued a decree banning residents from dying in his territory unless they own a spot in the overcrowded cemetery.
"It is forbidden for any person not having a plot in the cemetery ... to die on the territory of the village," the mayor of the southwestern village of Sarpourenx wrote in a decree that warned of "severe punishment" for offenders.
Mayor Gerard Lalanne told AFP he had taken the radical measure to protest against a legal ruling preventing him from enlarging the burial ground in the village of 260 people.
"The first dead person to come along, I'll send him to the state's representative," he said.
Lalane said he had been inspired by the mayor of another French village, Cugnaux, who had also outlawed death as a protest last year and who thus won the right to enlarge the village's cemetery.

RECIPES

 BEAR

The haunch and saddle of a young bear is very good roasted, tasting almost like pork, but old bear meat is extremely tough and is only palatable in a highly seasoned stew.

ROASTED RABBIT

A rabbit should be drawn as soon as possible after taking, but should not be skinned until ready to use.  They are best in the fall or early winter when they are young.

DON'T BITE ME!

The best, CHEAP, way of getting rid of mosquitoes is Listerine, the original medicinal type. The Dollar Store-type works, too. No need to rely on bats.
Spray the lawn or deck floor where you will be relaxing.  Spray around exterior doors.
