From Dad at Home

Dear Son,

I kNOw that astroNOmy, ecoNOmics, and oceaNOgraphy are eNOugh to keep even an hoNOr student busy. Do NOt forget that the pursuit of kNOwledge is a NOble task. You can never study eNOugh.

Love, Dad

From the Hadleys

Dear fellow Townspeople,

Walter and I have just returned from a most exciting trip to Ireland. I thought I should mention this thrilling event so those of you anticipating a vacation could consider this unforgettable destination. The tours are well organized with carefully planned routes that will swiftly take you through the bucolic countryside which is so reminiscent of Beartown. I suggest an extremely fast shutter speed on your camera so the photos do not come out blurry. We cannot begin to explain the great excitement we experienced. Instead we will share one of our cherished photographs with you. After all, "A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words."
